Edge doesn't allow me to search on a website.

Lately, whenever I try to search or do anything on kohls.com website, I get a blank page when I hit enter. I tried turning off extensions, clearing cookies/cache, but nothing works. I turned off antivirus/firewall, nothing. It only works when I use VPN. I used Chrome and was successful w/o having to do anything extra so it's clearly Edge. How can I fix the issue on Edge?

Hi, thanks for the update! If the website works in Chrome and only loads in Edge when you turn on VPN, this points to a network or IP routing issue rather than a problem with Edge itself. Please check Windows Settings > Network and Internet > Proxy and make sure proxy is turned off, then confirm your DNS is set to Automatic in your network adapter settings and reset Edge under Settings > Reset settings > Restore settings to default.

If the issue continues and VPN is the only way the site loads, you need to contact your internet provider because your IP routing to that website may be restricted when using Edge.

Hello, glad to assist you today!

Please make sure Edge is fully updated via Settings > About Microsoft Edge. Then restart and try InPrivate mode. If it works, reset Edge settings under Settings > Reset Settings > Restore settings to their default values.

Also, ensure Windows 11 is up to date. If it still only works with VPN, the site may be blocking Edge on your network.
