Good morning,
I just bought minecraft java edition and I received an email confirming my purchase and it now shows on my order history that I in fact bought minecraft.
The issue is that on Mojang (while logged into the same microsoft account) it says I dont have the game and that I have to buy it. On the minecraft launcher it says the same.
i've tried restarting my PC, I signed out of all services and logged again, I unnistalled the minecraft launcher and installed it again and nothing still. It still says I have to buy it.

While it is hard to tell from the photo alone, as I see, this might not be the PC edition. There is one way to check it for sure, can you please click on the "Minecraft" part in the photo and show me the page it led you to?

Yes, youre correct, I got this minecraft copy from a code redemption.
When I clicked on the minecraft part on the photo it sent me to this website:
