I have enabled Quantity Link to Excel as a Bluebeam administrator. Then I wen to excel and right clicked a cell, and the "quantity link" option was greyed out. I re-started and now that option doesn't even come up when I right click.

How do I set up Excel to work with Bluebeam for this feature?

    Hi, Travis Watt

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Quantity Link is a Bluebeam Excel plugin, so if the plugin isn’t actually enabled (or your Revu plan doesn’t include it), Excel will gray out the menu or hide it completely.

Here are some suggestions you can try:

Fully close Excel first, then open Bluebeam Administrator using Run as Administrator, go to Plugins, and tick Microsoft Excel > Quantity Link, then click OK. This forces Windows to register the Excel plugin properly instead of Excel loading without it.

Reopen Excel (Excel 2010+), right-click a cell and use Quantity Link > Create, then Add your source PDF and pick the measurement total (length, area, etc.) plus filters. This confirms the plugin is active and creates the first live link.

If the menu still doesn’t show, double-check you’re on a plan that actually includes Quantity Link (Revu 21 Complete, or Revu 20 and below needs eXtreme). Otherwise the feature won’t light up even if you’re an admin.

Hope this helps. Feel free to get back if you need further assistance.

    Hello,

Yes I have a license with Bluebeam Revu 21 that specifically included the "Quantity Link" feature. I double checked the plug-ins. No when I open excel and right click a cell it shows quantity link as a greyed out option that can't be selected.

Does this have anything to do with the one month free trial of office 365 I am using? I really wanted to test this feature, it will determine how I set up my quantity calculators.

    Thank you,

    Travis
