Sorry, there is no chat function in the Q&A forums. It is a user-to-user discussion forum, hosted by Microsoft. While there are AI-generated responses from Q&A Assist, the rest of the contributors are real people. :-)

Someone here may be able to help, if you tell us which issue you have encountered.

If the issue requires assistance from Microsoft support, you can contact them via the chat on the support site at https://support.microsoft.com/contactus.

To speak with a human about help verifying or activating Microsoft 365 Personal/Student and issues connecting to License Helper, use one of these supported contact paths:

    1. Use the Get Help / Contact Support flow for Microsoft 365 for home
      • Go to the general Office/Microsoft 365 support contact page: Contact Microsoft Office Support.
      • If prompted, sign in with any Microsoft account (it can be a different account if the student/personal one is not working).
      • Choose:
        • Product: Microsoft 365 and Office (or Microsoft 365 for home)
        • Category: Manage Account Security or Subscription / Activation (whichever best matches what you see)
      • Confirm, then select Chat with a support agent in your web browser or Call me back if that option is offered.
    2. Alternate route via Microsoft 365 customer service page
      • Open the Microsoft 365 customer service and support page for home products: Microsoft 365 Customer Service and Support.
      • Choose your product (Microsoft 365 Personal/Family/Student).
      • Select a support option such as Chat or Call back when available.
    3. If activation still fails after contacting support
      • If the subscription shows as renewed/active but apps still will not activate or connect to the helper, support can check the subscription state and, if needed, walk through:
        • Confirming the subscription status on the Microsoft account services page.
        • Checking for “Unlicensed product” or activation errors and applying the steps from the activation troubleshooting article.

If none of the self-service flows work or you cannot sign in at all, use any working or newly created Microsoft account just to reach support, then explain that the issue is with a different Personal/Student account so the agent can assist.
