If you can't select the 'View upgrades recommended for your org' link, it means you can't automatically change your plan right now. You can read more about the reasons for this here: Why can't I change plans?

In this case, you will need to change the plan manually. Please refer to this guide for help: Change plans manually.

Let me know more clearly what you need so I can assist you further.

I look forward to your support and response!

To upgrade a Microsoft 365 business subscription that does not show an upgrade option, use the manual change path and check the common blockers.

    1. Check why the built‑in upgrade option is unavailable
      • If using an MOSA billing account and the View upgrades recommended for your org link is grayed out or missing, one of these issues may apply:
        • There are more users than licenses. Unassign licenses until the number of licensed users is less than or equal to the number of licenses.
        • The current subscription is not fully set up or a service is unhealthy. In the admin center, go to Health > Service health and wait until all services are healthy.
        • Another plan is already in the process of being changed or a credit check is pending. Wait until that completes.
        • The subscription is not eligible for automatic plan changes. In this case, use the manual method below.
      • If you have multiple plans for the same product, government/non‑profit plans, add‑ons that block changes, or unpaid invoices, these can also prevent automatic upgrades. Resolve those issues first (for example, move users into a single plan, remove blocking add‑ons, or settle unpaid balances).
    2. Change plans manually (works even when automatic upgrade is blocked)
      1. Buy the new subscription:
        • In the Microsoft 365 admin center, purchase the new plan that users should move to, for the same organization (same domain) and with enough licenses for all users to be upgraded.
      2. Verify subscriptions and licenses:
        • Go to Billing > Your products.
        • Confirm both the old and new subscriptions are listed and Active.
        • Ensure there are enough unassigned licenses in the new subscription for the users to move.
      3. Move users to the new subscription:
        • Follow the steps in Move users from the old subscription to the new one so each user gets a license in the new plan.
        • If moving to a plan with fewer data‑related services, back up any data that must be retained before moving users.
      4. Cancel or reduce the old subscription:
        • After all users are moved, either cancel the old subscription or remove extra licenses so you are not billed for unused seats.
        • If using an MCA billing account, cancellation with prorated credit or refund is only available within seven days after the start or renewal of the subscription.

If none of the upgrade options appear and the subscription looks healthy and active, use the manual method above or contact support from the admin center for tenant‑specific investigation.
