Cannot re-subscribe to Microsoft 365

Question

Hi,

I have recently changed banks causing my monthly 365 subscription to fail when renewing. I have since updated my bank details and tried to re-subscribe but each time receive the following error;

"Sorry, something went wrong

Something happened on our end. Waiting a bit might help.

InvalidRecurrenceState/00-2524b453d3ca45f4b5e21fad7551f75b-0000000000000000-01 March 2, 2026 at 10:04:04 AM UTC"

I've since tried different bank details, using a laptop rather than my phone and tried on several different days. I am currently unable to receive and send new emails because of this.

Please can you help me?

When you mentioned that neither of the links resolved the issue do you mean that you found the item but were unable to change the info or that you couldn't find the subscription?

As for the chat wen you go to the support link be sure to select Contact Us. You may see options on the next page that suggest a way to contact. Chat may be temporarily blocked out if they have certain times that they are available.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble.

Please double check https://account.microsoft.com/services and https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders to see if you're able to change the way you pay for your subscription via either of those links.

If you're unable to do so then please start an online chat with https://support.microsoft.com/ and click on Contact Us. Follow the instructions provided to select your options and explain your issue when you get to a person. They should be able to help you get things sorted.
