Sync Quick Access between PCs

Is there any way to sync Quick Access folders/links in Windows Explorer between PCs? I can sync nearly everything else, even Sticky Notes, but I have to manually add/change Quick Access items every time I change things on one PC.

    Hi Antony,

I am afraid not right now something like that is supported. If the sync is not so often, consider a backup and restore of the folders. Instructions here:

I hope this information helps. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

Quick Access itself cannot be synced between PCs in Windows 11. There is no built-in feature or supported setting to automatically replicate Quick Access pins (the list of pinned folders/links in File Explorer) across devices.

What can be synced is the actual content locations (for example, OneDrive, SharePoint, or Teams libraries) so that the same folders are available on each PC, but the act of pinning them to Quick Access remains a per‑device configuration that must be done manually.

    A practical workaround is to:

    1. Store commonly used folders in a cloud-backed location such as OneDrive or a synced SharePoint/Teams library.
    2. On each PC, sync those locations locally (for example, using OneDrive or SharePoint sync) so they appear in File Explorer.
    3. Pin those synced folders to Quick Access on each device.

Once set up, the folder contents stay in sync via OneDrive/SharePoint, but Quick Access pins themselves do not roam.
