    Hi @Stockfisch, Morten

Thank you for posting question to Microsoft Q&A forum.

From your additional information, can you please confirm if you are seeing an email like this?

    User's image

And you clicked Accept and all appointments appeared twice?

Can you check in https://outlook.office.com/? Do all appointments appear twice?

Normally, after you accepted, the calendar will appear under Shared Calendars. You can try to untick it and see if the appointments show once or twice.

    User's image

If you untick and see the appointments twice, the additional calendar is not the problem. But if it shows once, the shared calendar has the duplicate appointments. You can check if that calendar has the same the appointments as your calendar, for example, both calendars have the same meeting at the same time.

    You can try:

    • remove and re-add the shared calendars.
    • Press Windows + R, type in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Outlook\ > look for your email address, it should look something like this: User's image Rename the .ost file (don’t delete it yet) > restart Outlook > Now Outlook will create a new .ost file.

Please try and let me know how it shows on Outlook web.

I look forward for your reply.

    Thank you for quick reply.

I got a "share calender" mail, and I accepted. I'm fairly certain I didn't accept twice.

Perhaps the mistake lies in the fact that I had already sent an invitation to my calendar to the same sender before receiving the email ?

my office account was already uptodate.

    Additional information:

the share information from the other calender came via invitation-mail + confirmed by button.

I can not see/find any reference in my outlook to that calender/account anymore.

So I wonder why there is still an issue

Duplicated appointments after adding another calendar are typically caused by a known Outlook issue with shared/REST calendars that has been fixed in newer builds.

To resolve the problem, update Outlook to a build that contains the fix:

    1. In Outlook, select File > Office Account.
    2. Select Update Options > Update Now.
    3. Let Office download and install all available updates.
    4. Restart Outlook and recheck the calendar view.

If the duplicate entries are from a shared calendar, also try removing and re-adding that shared calendar after updating.
