Hi, I'm Rodrigo and I will help you.
Depending on your device, the touchpad settings are not in Windows settings.
Open the Start Menu, type Mouse and open Mouse settings. On the right side, select "Additional mouse options".
It is common to have a touchpad manufacturer tab with its settings in the menu; check if you find it, and there you can change the multiple finger options.

Two-finger scrolling is controlled by the Windows touchpad settings and, on precision touchpads, can also be controlled via registry values.

To check and enable two-finger scroll in Windows settings:

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Go to Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad (or Devices > Touchpad on some versions).
    3. In the Scroll & zoom section, make sure Drag two fingers to scroll is turned On.
    4. Optionally, adjust Scrolling direction and Pinch to zoom if needed.

If the option for two-finger scroll is missing or disabled, and the device uses a precision touchpad, the underlying setting is controlled by the PanEnabled registry value:

    • Location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER (HKCU) touchpad settings.
    • Name: PanEnabled
    • Type: DWORD
    • Range: 0-1 (default is 1, which enables two-finger panning/scrolling).

If two-finger scroll still does not work after confirming settings, update the touchpad driver:

    1. Use Windows Update to get recommended and updated hardware drivers.
    2. Or open Device Manager and update the driver under Human Interface Devices or Mice and other pointing devices.

If the hardware or driver does not support precision touchpad features, some gestures (including two-finger scroll) may not be available.
