I have cancelled my Azure subscription and was billed a minimum charge to do this in December 2025 or January 2026. However there has been a recurring debt request of £100 being charged after my subscription was cancelled. I have consistently given feedback for this to stop , however no one acknowledges my requests and the billing tema have continuosly tried to charge my account giving me a negative credit report. Please have this action stopped immedaitely

Hello Felix Aliu, sorry you’re still seeing £100 requests after cancellation—that shouldn’t happen. Here’s what you can try right away:

    1. Stop any remaining auto-renewals
      • In the Azure portal go to Cost Management + Billing > Recurring charges.
      • Find any support plan or Marketplace offer on auto-renew and select Turn off auto-renew.
    2. Request an expedited refund
      • Still in Cost Management + Billing, look for the Request a refund button.
      • This kicks off an accelerated refund review for any eligible charges.
    3. Confirm your subscription is fully canceled
      • Go to Subscriptions in the portal, select your subscription and ensure it’s in “Canceled” state.
      • You should see “Delete subscription” become available ~15 minutes after canceling.
    4. Open a billing support ticket

Hope this helps get those charges stopped and refunded!

Billing for a canceled Azure subscription should stop immediately after cancellation, though a final bill can still be issued for usage in the last billing period. Ongoing or new recurring charges after cancellation are not expected and must be handled directly by Azure billing support.

Based on the described situation (subscription canceled in Dec 2025/Jan 2026, but recurring £100 charge attempts continue and are affecting credit), the next step is to open a dedicated Azure billing support request so a billing engineer can review the subscription, charges, and any remaining plans (including support plans) tied to the account and stop further billing attempts.

Follow these steps to contact Azure billing support (billing support is free):

    1. Go to the Azure support request creation page:
    2. In the search box, type billing and select Go.
    3. Choose Billing as the issue type and select Next.
    4. Select the affected Azure subscription from the dropdown and select Next.
    5. When options appear, select Create a support request at the top (do not select the automated solution tiles).
    6. Fill in the Summary, Problem type, and Problem subtype to describe:
      • That the subscription was canceled in Dec 2025/Jan 2026.
      • That recurring £100 debit attempts continue after cancellation.
      • That these attempts are impacting the credit report.
    7. Select Next, then on Additional details provide:
      • Subscription ID.
      • Dates and amounts of the recurring £100 attempts.
      • That the subscription should be fully canceled and all further billing attempts stopped.
    8. Select NextReview + createCreate.

A billing engineer will contact through the support case (typically within one business day) to:

    • Verify that the Azure subscription and any Azure Support plan are fully canceled.
    • Confirm final charges and stop any further billing attempts.
    • Review whether any of the charges are incorrect and advise on refund options if applicable.

If there are also Microsoft account subscription charges (for example Microsoft 365 or other consumer subscriptions) separate from Azure, use the Microsoft account dashboard to investigate those:

    • Go to the Manage your payments page and select Investigate on any unrecognized charge, then follow the guided steps.

If a charge is confirmed to be a Microsoft subscription and a refund is desired, first cancel the subscription, then check refund eligibility using the guidance in How to get a refund on a Microsoft subscription.

If support and billing cannot find any active Microsoft or Azure subscription matching the recurring charge, contact the bank or card issuer to dispute the transactions and prevent further debit attempts.
