    Hi Ilya Salim Aziz,

When PowerPoint fails to launch, the very first step is ensuring a previous instance is not silently frozen in the background. You can verify this by opening Task Manager and looking for a hung POWERPNT.EXE process to force close. Once you confirm no hidden instances are running, isolating the application from third-party extensions is the best diagnostic approach. By pressing the Windows key and R together, you can open the Run dialog box, type powerpnt /safe, and press Enter. If the software successfully opens from its default installation directory at C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\POWERPNT.EXE in this restricted state, an incompatible add-in is likely the culprit. You can resolve this by navigating to the File menu, opening Options, selecting Add-ins, and disabling them one by one to isolate the conflict.

If the application refuses to launch even in safe mode, the core installation files might be corrupted. You can address this by right-clicking the Windows Start button, opening the Installed Apps menu, and locating your Microsoft 365 or Office installation. Selecting the modify option allows you to run a Quick Repair to automatically scan and replace missing local files. Should the application remain unresponsive, returning to that menu and executing an Online Repair will download fresh installation components directly from Microsoft servers to fully restore the software state.

Hope this answer brought you some useful information. If it did, please hit "accept answer". Should you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment.
