    Hi Luanne Platt,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

In this situation, the events usually aren't "missing", classic Outlook is likely viewing a different calendar/account than the one new Outlook is showing, or the account was added as POP/IMAP, which won't fully sync calendar items.

Step 1: Confirm you're on the same account/calendar

    • New Outlook: Settings (gear) > Accounts > confirm the account that contains the events.
    • Classic Outlook: Go to Calendar and, in the left pane under My Calendars, make sure you check the Calendar under the same email account (not a different "Calendar" or another account).

Step 2: Make sure Outlook.com/Hotmail is added as "Exchange" in classic Outlook

If your Microsoft account in classic Outlook is set up as POP/IMAP, calendar events may not appear. Remove and re-add it using Outlook's automatic setup:

    • Classic Outlook > File > Add Account > sign in and let Outlook configure it automatically. Outlook will detect it as an Exchange account, which supports full calendar sync.

Note: If you have any local-only data, back it up before removing an account.

Step 3 (only if the calendar is shared and items are still missing):

Try disabling Turn on shared calendar improvements, restart Outlook, and re-add the shared calendar if needed.

    Printing in landscape (classic Outlook)

Once your events are showing in Classic Outlook, the easiest way to get a clean landscape print is to use Calendar Details Style.

    1. In Classic Outlook, go to File > Print.
    2. Under Settings, choose the Calendar you want to print.
    3. Select Calendar Details Style.
    4. Click Print Options > set Orientation to Landscape and adjust the date/time range as needed.
    5. Click Print.

Please let me know if this proves useful to you, or if you would like further assistance.

I'm looking forward to your reply.

Events do not “live” only in new Outlook or only in classic Outlook. Both apps show the same data from the underlying mailbox (Microsoft 365, Outlook.com, or other account). If events appear in new Outlook but not in classic Outlook, the classic profile is either:

    • Not connected to the same account, or
    • Pointing at an old/local data file (PST) instead of the online mailbox.

To get the events into classic Outlook so they can be printed in landscape:

    1. In classic Outlook, confirm the correct account is added
      • Select File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
      • On the Email tab, make sure the same email account used in new Outlook is listed and set as default.
      • If it is missing, add it there and let Outlook fully sync. The calendar from that mailbox (including events) will then appear in classic Outlook.
    2. Make sure the correct calendar is selected
      • Go to Calendar (Ctrl+2).
      • In the left folder pane, under My Calendars, check the box for the calendar that belongs to the same account used in new Outlook.
      • Verify that the events now show in the classic Outlook calendar view.
    3. Print the calendar in landscape from classic Outlook
      • In Calendar, select the view to print (Day/Week/Month).
      • Select File > Print.
      • Under Settings, choose the desired print style (for full details, use Weekly Agenda Style or Calendar Details Style).
      • Select Print Options.
      • In Print Options, choose Print this calendar (if needed, pick the correct calendar), then set Page orientation to Landscape and adjust any other options.
      • Select OK, then Print.

Classic Outlook can only print one calendar at a time, so ensure the calendar with the events is the one selected in Print Options.
