Hi Luanne Platt,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A.
In this situation, the events usually aren't "missing", classic Outlook is likely viewing a different calendar/account than the one new Outlook is showing, or the account was added as POP/IMAP, which won't fully sync calendar items.
Step 1: Confirm you're on the same account/calendar
- New Outlook: Settings (gear) > Accounts > confirm the account that contains the events.
- Classic Outlook: Go to Calendar and, in the left pane under My Calendars, make sure you check the Calendar under the same email account (not a different "Calendar" or another account).
Step 2: Make sure Outlook.com/Hotmail is added as "Exchange" in classic Outlook
If your Microsoft account in classic Outlook is set up as POP/IMAP, calendar events may not appear. Remove and re-add it using Outlook's automatic setup:
- Classic Outlook > File > Add Account > sign in and let Outlook configure it automatically. Outlook will detect it as an Exchange account, which supports full calendar sync.
Note: If you have any local-only data, back it up before removing an account.
Step 3 (only if the calendar is shared and items are still missing):
Try disabling Turn on shared calendar improvements, restart Outlook, and re-add the shared calendar if needed.

Printing in landscape (classic Outlook)
Once your events are showing in Classic Outlook, the easiest way to get a clean landscape print is to use Calendar Details Style.
- In Classic Outlook, go to File > Print.
- Under Settings, choose the Calendar you want to print.
- Select Calendar Details Style.
- Click Print Options > set Orientation to Landscape and adjust the date/time range as needed.
- Click Print.
