Outlook.com does not remove older emails automatically, so if your Inbox no longer shows messages before 2023, it usually means they were deleted, moved, or downloaded by another app that used POP settings. Outlook.com also does not keep a backup of your mailbox unless you manually created one. If the emails are gone from both Deleted Items and the Recoverable Items section, they can no longer be restored. Please sign in to Outlook.com on a browser and check your Deleted Items, then scroll to the bottom and click “Recover items deleted from this folder.” It is also helpful to review your Archive or other folders in case a rule or another device moved the emails.
