How to fix Azure error message: interaction_required: AADSTS5000225: This tenant has been blocked due to inactivity.

I signed up for a free personal account (using my usual Microsoft login email address) to use while taking the AZ-900 exam. All went well during signup, and I got the welcome email. However, when signing in to portal.azure.com, I get the following. How do I fix it? I'm wondering if I tried a free trial at some point in the past and it has since timed out?

Is there a way to get it reset? I can't even 'upgrade' to a paid option at this point, as I can't get past this sign-in.

The error message you are seeing indicates that your tenant has been inactive for more than 200 days after the billing cycle, which triggered Microsoft's process to remove inactive tenants. At this stage, the OMS commerce system places a login block AADSTS5000225, Twenty days after this block is applied, the tenant is permanently deleted.

To restore access, the tenant must have been blocked for less than 20 days. After 30 days, the tenant is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

We can reactivate your tenant only if it has been blocked for less than 20 days, please share the requested details in private message so that we can reactivate your account.

Once we have the requested details, we can proceed with your account reactivation

Thank you for the reply, Vemula! OK, are you saying I can't ever have an Azure account again against that Microsoft login (my normal ID), because I didn't use it once a long time ago? There's no way to create a new environment against it? How do I get around this? Will I have to create a new Microsoft login different from the main account I use for everything else??
