When OneNote, Word and Excel close immediately on a Samsung Galaxy device, it usually means the apps or system components need to be refreshed. Start by restarting your phone, then open the Microsoft 365 or Office apps again to see if they load normally. If the issue continues, go to Settings > Apps > Word/Excel/OneNote > Storage and clear the app cache only, then try opening the apps again. If that doesn’t help, make sure your phone software and the Office apps are fully updated through the Galaxy Store and Google Play Store. You can also try signing out and signing back into your Microsoft account inside one of the apps. If nothing changes, uninstall and reinstall the affected apps to refresh all components. If the problem still occurs after reinstalling, it may be caused by a system-level conflict, so testing in Safe Mode or checking for pending Samsung system updates can help isolate it.
