    Hi, I'm John!

To help narrow down the issue:

    1. Is the account marked as a child account?
    2. Are you getting any error message?
    3. Are you removing them from family.microsoft.com while signed in with the organizer account?

If is is a child account:

The adult who originally granted consent for the child’s account has to manage that consent first. Here’s what you need to do:

    • Sign in at https://family.microsoft.com with the adult account that granted consent.
    • Select the child’s profile and go to Manage consent.
    • Remove the consent there first.
    • After that’s done, sign back in as the organizer, you’ll now see the option to Remove from the family group for that child.

Reference "To remove another member from a family group" section here https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/how-to-leave-a-microsoft-family-group-6d806bbb-eb38-a978-10f4-3bbb814ffcc4

If the issue persists, please provide more details by answering my questions.
