How do I report a new Mac Excel Bug? The horizontal scroll wheel is gone from "Text to Columns"

The horizontal scroll wheel is missing after the recent Mac system update (macOS Tahoe 26.3) for the "Get Data from Text (Legacy)" and "Text to Columns" functions

Open a new excel sheet

Go to "Data" tab

Click "Get Data from Text (Legacy)"

Choose a .csv or .txt file with many columns (Pipe separated in my case)

Choose delimited, click next

Choose the correct delimiter, click next

Expected: User can scroll horizontally through all columns (a scroll bar exists)

Actual: No scroll bar is visible or usable. User can use horizontal scrolling methods but cannot use the scroll bar to quickly go to the final columns

The same scrolling bar is missing from "Text to Columns" process

To report this issue directly to Microsoft, I recommend submitting feedback via the Excel app > Help > Feedback > Report a problem or via the Microsoft 365 Feedback Hub > send feedback.

To report this new Excel for Mac bug and get it tracked by the product team, use the built‑in feedback channels in Office and, if needed, Microsoft Q&A:

1. In Excel for Mac, open any workbook.
2. On the menu bar, select Help > Feedback (or the smiley‑face button near the top corner of the app, if visible).
3. Choose Send a Frown (or equivalent problem option).
4. Clearly describe the issue, including:
   • macOS version (e.g., macOS Tahoe 26.3)
   • Excel version and channel (from Excel > About Excel)
   • Exact steps already listed (Get Data from Text (Legacy) / Text to Columns, missing horizontal scroll bar in the preview grid)
   • That horizontal scrolling via trackpad/mouse still works, but the scroll bar control is missing.
5. If possible, attach a screenshot of the Text to Columns / Get Data from Text dialog showing the missing horizontal scroll bar.

If a workaround or confirmation from other users is desired, also post the same details in the Office for Mac community forum so support agents and other users can reproduce and escalate:

• Go to the Office for Mac community and create a new question describing the bug and steps to reproduce.

These channels are monitored by the Office team and are the supported way to get Mac Excel bugs like this logged and tracked.
