Can you go to https://account.live.com > Subscriptions. Click on manage for the plan. Is it about the expire? Is the auto renewal enabled? If so, you will need to disable it, so it will expire, and you can renew it when you come back end of April.
Although, by doing so, your OneDrive files (if you use more than 5GB) will become read-only, and they can be deleted permanently within 60 days.
