Close Microsoft account

Question

I cannot close my account.

I keep getting this message when trying to close it and I don’t have a work account:

You need to leave your work organization

Before we can take any action, you must leave your work organization. After you cancel your active subscriptions, you should return to this page to complete the account closure process.

I tried signing into azure websit and received this message.

Sign-in failed

Error code: interaction_required

Please sign into https://portal.azure.com

Then click on Manage Entra ID

Then click on Manage tenants.

Do you see the organization listed? If so, check th box and click on "Leave".

If you cannot leave, tell me what it says.
