SharePoint List > Yes/No Column type. I don’t see the toggle anymore. The Yes/No column has become a checkbox.

We used to have toggle/switch style button for Yes/No column - now all off it became checkbox. Why?!? Tested it on blank list filled list - site is modern, list is modern.

    Hello @Jonas Savickas,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand that the Yes/No column previously appeared as a toggle/switch style button and is now displaying as a checkbox.

I have tested the same scenario on my side by creating a new blank modern list and adding a new Yes/No column. The result is consistent; the column is displayed as a checkbox in the default view, grid view, and item form. This confirms that the behavior is not related to a specific list, site configuration, or tenant.

At this time, the Yes/No column in modern SharePoint lists is designed to appear as a single checkbox when entering or editing information. The toggle-style control is no longer shown in the current UI experience.

There is currently no built-in setting to switch the column back to a toggle format. If this change impacts your usability requirements, we recommend submitting feedback directly to the product team via the following link:
