Other features or issues related to Microsoft Partner Center
To verify an app and use Partner Center programs such as Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program, the account must first be enrolled as a partner and recognized as a work account in a Microsoft Entra ID tenant.
Use the following steps to get enrolled and then check the status of the PartnerID:
- Create or use a work account in a global (non-government) Microsoft Entra tenant.
- Go to the Partner Center enrollment page for Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program and start with the work email address issued by the company (for example,
******@yourcompany.com). Government domains are not supported. - If there is no global-tenant work account, first create a public tenant and then enroll.

- Complete Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program enrollment.
- Provide the company’s legal business details. If registered with Dun & Bradstreet, use the DUNS ID to look up the company; otherwise, enter details manually.
- Enter a primary contact that can receive email and select Enroll now.
- Verify email ownership when the verification mail is sent to the primary contact. This must be a monitored work mailbox, not a personal address.
- Wait for identity and business verification to complete (typically three to five business days). If verification is Rejected or Pending, follow the guidance in the verification article or use Resend verification email from the Legal Info page.
- Confirm that the PartnerID is active.
- Sign in to Partner Center with the same work account.
- Select the Settings (gear) icon → Account settings → Legal Info.
- On the Partner tab, check Program info. The Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program status must show Active. If it shows Declined/Rejected or Pending, resolve the verification issues before the program tile becomes usable.
- If the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program tile remains unavailable:
- Confirm that the correct work account is being used. If a personal account with the same email exists, explicitly choose the work account at sign-in.
- If the Partner tab is not visible or status cannot be viewed, contact the organization’s Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program partner admin to check and, if necessary, complete enrollment.
Once the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program enrollment is active and associated with the work account, the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program option in Partner Center becomes available and the app can then be associated with the verified partner account for production use.
