    Hi, Will Ford

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Please note that our forum is a public platform, and we will modify your question to hide your personal information in the description. Kindly ensure that you hide any personal or organizational information the next time you post an error or other details to protect personal data.

With Microsoft 365 Business trials, the address you used to sign up becomes the admin sign-in, so you will not be able to “switch” it to enquiries@your-domain until you can get into the admin centre and add your domain there.

Here are some suggestions you can try:

Sign in at https://admin.microsoft.com using your @outlook.com account, then go to Settings > Domains and add your domain. Once the domain is verified, you can change the user sign-in to enquiries@your-domain under Users > Active users > Manage username and email. Microsoft only lets you pick your custom domain after it is added to the tenant.

If you want to stop using the Outlook.com address entirely, create a new user as enquiries@your-domain and give it admin rights, then use that going forward. Admin permissions can be moved to a different account once your domain exists in the tenant.

If you cannot log in to your @outlook.com account, do a password reset/account recovery for that Microsoft account first, because without that original admin login you cannot access the trial tenant to make changes.

Hope this helps. Feel free to get back if you need further assistance.

Since this is a public forum, we will hide your personal identifiable information, and I have sent that image of yours containing your personal identifiable information in a private message so we can work together to resolve the issue. Also, please check your private message in case you want to share another screenshot to avoid leaking your PII by click on the Private Message button as show below.
