How to fix sound from Bluetooth device (Headphones)

Question

Connected headphones via Bluetooth. It was working fine, but not anymore. Even though Bluetooth is connected, the sound still comes from the speaker of my Surface, bro, and not the headphones

Follow these steps on the Surface to route sound to the Bluetooth headphones again:

1. Set the Bluetooth headphones as the output device
   1. Select Start > Settings > System > Sound.
   2. Under Output (or Choose where to play sound), open the list and select the Bluetooth headphones instead of the Surface speakers.
2. Confirm the accessory is connected correctly
   1. Make sure the Bluetooth headphones are powered on and in range.
   2. Verify they show as Connected under Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
   3. If they show as paired but not connected, select them and connect.
3. Reconnect the Bluetooth headphones
   1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
   2. Remove/unpair the headphones.
   3. Put the headphones back into pairing mode.
   4. Add them again and then repeat step 1 to set them as the output device.
4. Check volume levels
   1. Turn up the volume on the Surface.
   2. Turn up the volume on the headphones (if they have their own volume control).
   3. If specific apps are muted or using the wrong device, open Settings > System > Sound > Volume mixer and reset or change the output for those apps to the Bluetooth device.
5. If still no sound, restart
   1. Turn Bluetooth off and on again.
   2. Restart the Surface and test again.
