    Hi @Tricia Montgomery,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand how important it is to keep your Microsoft 365 billing information up to date, especially to avoid any disruption to your services.

To clarify, payment details for Microsoft 365 business subscriptions are managed through the Microsoft 365 admin center. However, the option to update billing information may be unavailable if you are not signed in with an account that has the required billing or administrative permissions.

To try updating your payment method, please follow these steps:

    • Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center
    • Go to Billing > Bills & payments > Payment methods.
    • Select Add a payment method to add a new card or use More actions (the three dots) next to an existing payment method to Edit or Replace it.

Please note that while you can update details such as the billing address or expiration date, changes to the card number itself require replacing the payment method, as card numbers cannot be edited.

Additionally, if your subscription was purchased through a third-party reseller or partner, payment updates may need to be completed directly through that provider rather than in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

If you are still unable to update the payment method, an administrator in your organization can contact Microsoft Support from the admin center by going to Help & support. This allows the billing support team to securely review the account.

You can create a support ticket by signing in to the Microsoft 365 admin center and following the steps in this link: Get support for Microsoft 365 for business to create a support ticket from the admin center or by calling phone support to contact Microsoft Support: Customer service phone numbers. If you don't have admin privileges, you can ask your IT admin to do it on your behalf.

Alternatively, you can learn how to find your administrator through this link: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin?.

Note: We appreciate your understanding regarding the scope of support available through this forum. As moderators, our role is to provide general guidance and assist with common troubleshooting steps. While we do not have access to internal systems or administrative tools necessary to resolve specific account or backend-related issues, we will continue to do our best to support you within the scope of our responsibilities.

I hope this information helps move things forward. Please feel free to let me know how it goes, or if you need any further assistance. I’ll be happy to help.

I look forward to your reply.
