Anyone have a link for live support chat, Ive been trying to unlock my hotmail account for over a month, and had to create a new outlook email account. Now I get a notification that the outlook one has been compromised too.. Would just like to chat with a live agent.

Thanks

It was much easier a few years ago. There was a direct link to the chat, clicking on which immediately got into the chat window, without any "quests".

    Hello, Brandon Semmes.

Log in to your MS profile (the one that is not blocked) on the page https://support.microsoft.com/en-US/home/contact?SourceApp=smc2&ContactUsExperienceEntryPointAssetId=www.microsoft.com

In the search bar, type (without quotes) "agent support" and press Enter or click on Get Help. Ignore the search results, and click on the "Contact Support" button at the bottom. On the next page, select "Other Products" and "Billing and Account Profile questions" from the drop-down lists, and then click on "Confirm". Next, select the chat "Chat with a support agent in your web browser" and on the next page, enter (if requested) your (the one that works) email address and click on "Confirm". A chat window will open in a new tab. Wait for the operator to respond.

To reach a live Microsoft support agent about locked or compromised Outlook/Hotmail accounts, use these official options:

    1. If it is possible to sign in to any Microsoft account
      1. Go to Outlook.com and sign in.
      2. Select Help on the menu bar.
      3. In the pane that opens, type the issue (for example, “account hacked” or “account locked”).
      4. If the self-help suggestions do not solve it, scroll down and select Still need help?Yes.
      5. Choose Chat with a support agent in your web browser when offered.
    2. If signing in to Outlook.com is not possible
      1. Use the Outlook.com support entry point for users who cannot sign in: follow the “If you can't sign in, click here” path described in the Outlook.com help articles.
      2. From there, follow the prompts until the Contact Support or chat option appears.
    3. Use the Microsoft account recovery and hacked-account tools
      • For a hacked or compromised Microsoft account, start with the official recovery/hacked-account helper: select Start in the “How to recover a hacked or compromised Microsoft account” article and follow the guided steps. This flow can also route to an agent when appropriate.
    4. General Microsoft Support (any Microsoft account)
      • From the main Microsoft Support contact page, search for terms like Account Recovery or recover account, then choose Contact Support → select the product (for example, Outlook.com/Microsoft account) → Manage Account SecurityChat with a support agent in your web browser.

Because both the old Hotmail and the new Outlook account show compromise/lock issues, also follow the hacked-account guidance (change passwords, review security info, and secure devices) once access is restored.
