I cannot access my Azure account and emails. How do I unlock my Azure account with this error?

Error code: AADSTS5000225

Error message: AADSTS5000225: This tenant has been blocked due to inactivity. To learn more about tenant lifecycle policies, see https://aka.ms/TenantLifecycle Trace. I know the issue regarding 20 days, it's been too much time now since i used azure last. Would like to reactivate my account.

The error AADSTS5000225 means the Microsoft Entra/Azure tenant is blocked due to inactivity.

Based on tenant lifecycle behavior in the context:

    1. When a tenant is marked inactive, it becomes inaccessible and shows this error.
    2. Administrators can request reactivation only within 20 days of the tenant entering the inactive state.
    3. If the tenant has been in this inaccessible state for more than 20 days, the tenant is deleted and is not recoverable.

Because the question states that the 20‑day period has already passed, the tenant and its Azure resources (including access via that tenant) cannot be reactivated.

For future cases where the 20‑day window has not yet elapsed, the documented path is:

    1. A tenant administrator must contact Microsoft using the global support phone numbers to request tenant reactivation.
    2. Do not submit multiple assistance requests for the same tenant while one case is in progress.

If the tenant is already past the 20‑day deletion threshold, a new tenant must be created and new services configured there. Any data or configuration in the deleted tenant cannot be restored.
