A cloud-based identity and access management service for securing user authentication and resource access
Hello @Mitchell Hayden,
In Microsoft Entra, the default limit for the number of resources (objects) that can be created in a single tenant is 50,000 for users of the Microsoft Entra ID Free edition.
However, if you have at least one verified domain, this limit can be extended to 300,000 resources. It’s important to note that this limit includes all types of directory objects such as users, groups, applications, and service principals.
If you’re encountering issues with a tenant that has been limited to only 500 objects, it may be due to the specific service tier or configuration of that tenant. To increase this limit, you will need to contact Microsoft Support, as they can assist in raising the quota for your organization.
Additionally, the presence of ‘shadow objects’ or hidden objects can also consume part of your quota, which might be contributing to the limitation you are experiencing.
