If you need to cancel a Microsoft 365 Business subscription within seven days of the start date or renewal date, please follow these steps:
- Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center
- Go to Billing > Your products
- Select the subscription you want to cancel
- On the subscription details page, under Billing settings and Subscription status, select Cancel subscription and follow the prompts
If more than seven days have passed since the subscription started or renewed, you will need to turn off recurring billing instead. This will prevent the subscription from renewing at the end of the current term. You will continue to have access to the products and services until the subscription period ends.
To turn off recurring billing:
- Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center
- Go to Billing > Your products
- Select the subscription you want to manage
- On the subscription details page, select Edit recurring billing
- In the pane that appears, switch recurring billing to Off, then select Save
If you are not the admin of the organization, please contact your Microsoft 365 administrator to make these changes.
