Hello, thank you for your reply.
In the application (Excel), go to File > Options > Copilot.
Clear the Enable Copilot checkbox.
Select OK, then close and restart the application.
If the Microsoft 365 app does not yet have an Enable Copilot checkbox, you can turn off Copilot by changing your account privacy settings.
- For example, in the application (PowerPoint), go to File > Account > Account Privacy > Manage Settings.
- Under Connected Experiences, clear the Experiences that analyze your content checkbox.
- Select OK, then close and restart the application.
You only need to change the privacy settings in one application. The next time you open other applications, the change will take effect there as well.
However, when you change account privacy settings to turn off Copilot, you also disable other Microsoft 365 features you may want to use. For example, suggested replies in Outlook, text predictions in Word, PowerPoint Designer, and automatic alt text for images.
