Dear @Engineer,
Good day. Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum!
First of all, I would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. According to your description, please kindly try these steps below and check if it works:
1.Reset the OneDrive account from inside the app
- Open OneDrive
- Tap Profile picture > Settings > Account
- Select the affected account (if more than one)
- Tap Reset
- After the reset completes, sign in again and check if the error message still appears
2.Ensure OneDrive is allowed to run in the background
- Go to iOS Settings > General > Background App Refresh
- Make sure Background App Refresh is enabled
- Ensure OneDrive is turned ON
3.If Camera Upload is enabled
- Open OneDrive and leave it running in the foreground for a while (preferably on Wi‑Fi and charging)
- Pending uploads can sometimes trigger repeated restart prompts if they cannot complete
4.If the OneDrive app doesn't launch or keeps crashing, reinstall the app:
I understand that you mentioned you have already uninstalled and reinstalled the application. To ensure we are aligned, may I kindly confirm the exact steps you followed when uninstalling and reinstalling the app? Please kindly try uninstalling the application once again by following the steps below.
- Uninstall the OneDrive app by pressing and holding the OneDrive app icon. Tap the 'X' in the corner and then accept the confirmation message to delete it.
- Force a restart of your device. Read the Apple Support restart instructions for your device/iOS version.
- Reinstall the OneDrive app from the App Store.
If the issue still persists, please kindly provide the following information so that I can assist you further:
- Are there any other users in your organization experiencing the same issue?
- Does this issue occur only in OneDrive on iOS, or does it also happen on other devices or platforms?
- What specific iOS device model are you using, and which iOS version is installed?
- Do you see any error codes when the issue occurs? Additionally, please capture and share screenshots of the error message with me.
Note: Please note that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.
Your understanding and co-operation are highly appreciated. Thank you for your precious time. I am looking forward to your response!
