Power BI will not open in app

My report will not open in app. I can only acces it through the power bi website. How do I solve this

In Power BI on the web, the Power BI Desktop button is for downloading/installing the Desktop app from the Microsoft Store, not for opening a specific report directly in the Desktop app. That is why the report only opens in the browser and not “in the app.”

To work with the report in Power BI Desktop instead of the browser, download the PBIX file and open it manually in the Desktop app:

1. In the Power BI service (https://app.powerbi.com), open the report.
2. Use the Export or Download this file option (if enabled by the report owner) to download the PBIX file.
3. Open Power BI Desktop on the computer.
4. Use File > Open and select the downloaded PBIX file.

If the PBIX download option is not available, the workspace or report settings may not allow downloading; in that case, the report can only be used in the Power BI service.
