Good morning, I have a virtual gateway in Azure configured with a basic public IP. I'm aware that it will be decommissioned at the end of June and was waiting for the migration tool in the portal. Today a new button appeared, but it doesn't say Migrate but Delete Basic Public IP Reference. I'm not sure if that's the migration tool or if it deletes my virtual gateway. I haven't found any information about this online. Thanks for your replies.

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform.
This is to support deprecation of Basic Sku Public IPs for Basic SKU VPN gateways as outlined here - What's new in Azure VPN Gateway? | Microsoft Learn - specifically for this section - "Basic SKU public IP address migration - For Basic SKU Gateway".
So basically, this is not a migration tool and it should not delete the VPN Gateway.
Regarding the Delete Basic Public IP Reference option , we are checking internally and will share the update soon.
