Thank you for letting me know.

If you haven't tried anything yet:

    • Make sure you're signed in with the same Microsoft account that the subscription is linked to.
    • Then, open any Office app (like Word or Excel), go to File > Account, and click "Update License" to refresh your subscription status.

    If issue still persists:

Before installing, it’s a good idea to uninstall all existing versions of Office to avoid conflicts.

    Here’s how:

    • Open the Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
    • Look for any version of Microsoft Office or Office apps, right-click, then choose Uninstall. Please uninstall all Office apps.
    • Once that’s done, restart your computer just to be safe.

    If you're using Mac: https://support.microsoft.com/office/uninstall-office-for-mac-eefa1199-5b58-43af-8a3d-b73dc1a8cae3

    Then, to reinstall Microsoft Office:

    • Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services
    • Sign in using the same Microsoft account linked to your license.
    • Find your Microsoft 365 Subscription and click the "Install".
    • That will download the installer for the Office apps, just run it and follow the steps.

If anything’s unclear or the "Install" option still doesn’t show, feel free to let me know. I’ll be happy to walk you through it!

I really hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

When you say you can’t access your Microsoft 365 subscription, what exactly happens?

    For example:

    1. Do you not see the subscription at https://account.microsoft.com/services?
    2. Are the Office apps showing “Unlicensed Product”?
    3. Do you get any error message when you try to use Word, Excel, or another Office app?

Also, did you buy the subscription directly from Microsoft or from a retailer, and are you sure you are signed in with the same Microsoft account used to purchase it?

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

Follow these steps to regain access to the Microsoft 365 subscription.

    1. Confirm that the correct account is being used
      • Go to the Microsoft account Services & subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services.
      • Sign in with the email address currently used.
      • Check whether a Microsoft 365 or Office subscription is listed.
      • If nothing appears, the subscription is associated with a different email address. Try signing out and back in with any other personal email addresses that might have been used when purchasing Microsoft 365.
    2. Check subscription status
      • On the same Services & subscriptions page, verify that the Microsoft 365 subscription is Active and not Expired, Suspended, or Canceled.
      • If the subscription is expired, renewal is required before apps and services will work normally.
    3. If the subscription is active but apps still don’t recognize it
      • Sign out of all Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
      • Close the apps, then reopen one (for example, Word).
      • Go to File > Account and sign in with the same account that shows the active subscription on the Services & subscriptions page.
      • If there is an option such as Update license or similar, use it to refresh activation.
    4. If the subscription was recently renewed but still cannot be used
      • Recheck the renewal status on the Payment & billing / Services & subscriptions page to ensure the renewal completed and the subscription shows as active.
      • If it is active and access still fails, contact Microsoft Support for further investigation.
    5. If the account itself cannot be accessed
