2. Sign in to the correct Microsoft account that owns the subscription, then cancel the subscription from the account’s services/subscriptions area so future renewals stop.
3. After cancellation, check whether the charge is eligible for a refund and submit a refund request online.
4. If access to the account isn’t possible (forgotten account, no access to email/phone), or the charge can’t be located, contact Microsoft Support and work with the billing team to review the charge.
5. If Microsoft Support cannot locate the transaction on any Microsoft account, contact the card issuer/bank to dispute the charge and request they block further Microsoft debits on that card.

For fraudulent or unrecognized charges, the bank/financial institution can also block the card and issue a new one to prevent further unauthorized payments.
