We are a company called Next Payments in Korea and we use MS365 service. I used to use the clip camp function before, but it's suddenly been discontinued for about 3 days, so I want to know why. And please tell me what to do to use the function again.

Clipchamp availability for a work account depends on two main factors:

    1. Whether Clipchamp is enabled and licensed in the Microsoft 365 tenant.
    2. Which Microsoft 365 SKU the user is assigned.

Possible reasons Clipchamp suddenly stopped working:

    1. The Clipchamp service was disabled for the user or organization
      • Microsoft 365 admins can turn Clipchamp on or off per user, group, or the whole organization. If it worked before and stopped in the last few days, the most likely cause is that the admin changed license settings.
      • In the Microsoft 365 admin center, an admin can go to Billing > Licenses, select the user, and verify that Microsoft Clipchamp is still checked. If it is unchecked, Clipchamp will disappear for that user.
    2. License or SKU changes in the tenant
      • Clipchamp Standard is being rolled out as a service in Office 365 E3/E5 for business. If licenses were changed (for example, moved to a SKU that does not yet include Clipchamp, or to a government SKU), Clipchamp may no longer be available.
      • Clipchamp is not available in Microsoft 365 Government or Office 365 Government SKUs (G3, G5), and is not available in Office 365 Education SKUs (A3, A5) at this stage. If the tenant or user licenses were changed toward these, Clipchamp will not appear.
    3. Service not yet (or no longer) rolled out/assigned
      • The rollout of Clipchamp as a service in Office 365 business SKUs is ongoing. If the tenant was recently changed or reconfigured, Clipchamp might not be assigned or visible until the admin re-enables it.

    Actions to restore Clipchamp:

    1. Confirm tenant and user licenses
      • Have the Microsoft 365 admin verify that users who need Clipchamp are assigned a supported business SKU (for example, Office 365 E3 or E5, not government or education SKUs).
    2. Check that Clipchamp is enabled for affected users
      • In the Microsoft 365 admin center:
        1. Go to Billing > Licenses.
        2. Select the license row for the affected user.
        3. In the right pane, ensure Microsoft Clipchamp is selected.
        4. Select Save.
      • If Clipchamp was disabled, re-enabling it should restore access (may take some time to propagate).
    3. Try accessing Clipchamp from supported entry points
      • Once enabled and licensed, users can access Clipchamp from:
        • The Microsoft 365 homepage (Apps section).
        • The Clipchamp start page in Microsoft 365 for the web.
        • Microsoft 365 Create page.
        • OneDrive/SharePoint via Add new or Open > Edit in Clipchamp on a video file.
        • The Clipchamp desktop app for Windows (if deployed by the admin).
    4. If Clipchamp still does not appear
      • Contact the organization’s IT or Microsoft 365 admin and ask them to:
        • Verify Clipchamp availability and licensing as above.
        • If everything looks correct but the feature is still missing, open a support ticket with Microsoft via the business support channel on behalf of the organization.

For end users, the next step is to contact the internal IT team or Microsoft 365 administrator, since only admins can see and change Clipchamp licensing and availability.
