Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
Hello Zbarcea AdrianThank you for reaching out to the Q&A Forum and I understand how confusing this situation can be.
To better assist you, may I ask whether the “locked” message appears inside the Microsoft Authenticator app (for example: “Authenticator is locked”) or if you see “Your sign‑in has been blocked” when trying to log in? If possible, a screenshot would be very helpful for clarification.
If you see “Authenticator is locked” inside the app, please try unlocking it using your device PIN, fingerprint, or Face ID.
If it continues to lock itself, please reopen the Authenticator app and navigate to Settings, then turn App Lock OFF to see if you can access the app again.
If you cannot access your Authenticator at all, or if you see “Your sign‑in has been blocked”, since this is a school account, you’ll need to contact your IT administrator. Only your IT admin can take action to:
- Reset your MFA/authentication methods
- Force a new MFA registration for your account
You can also share this official Microsoft article with them for step‑by‑step guidance on managing authentication methods: Manage user authentication options
I hope this information is helpful. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
