A PC equipped with advanced AI capabilities and Windows Copilot integration
Hi George Zen
Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Q&A Forum!
I understand how disruptive this situation is, especially when your work depends on GitHub Copilot and you have an active paid subscription.
However, Microsoft Q&A is a public community forum for fellow users just like you and me. We do not have the ability to access accounts, unblock services, enforce SLAs, or intervene in GitHub support cases. Posting here cannot accelerate or override GitHub’s internal review or enforcement process.
A few important clarifications:
- GitHub accounts and GitHub Copilot are handled by GitHub Support, even when Copilot Pro is paid.
- Microsoft Q&A moderators and contributors cannot activate, unblock, or modify accounts, and we do not have visibility into support tickets or any other GitHub support cases.
- SLA commitments, billing disputes, and account enforcement must be handled directly by GitHub Support or GitHub Billing.
What you should do next:
- Continue following up directly in your existing GitHub Support ticket rather than opening new ones.
- If you believe you are being charged for a service you cannot access, raise this explicitly as a billing dispute with GitHub.
I know this isn’t the answer you were hoping for, but this forum cannot intervene or act on your behalf. The only team that can resolve a blocked GitHub account or Copilot entitlement is GitHub Support.
I hope GitHub is able to get back to you soon and resolve this so you can get back to work.
