copilot in pptx

I have Macbook air, OS Tahoe 26.3, and standard license for microsoft 365, pptx Version 16.106 (26020821). I am trying to use copilot to automatically create slides from a file (such as text in word doc), ideally using my own template. I see copilot icon and fucntion in pptx, but when working with it, even tho it pretends to actually listen to me and try to generate what i want, it always ends up just being a fake link with no file generated, and after several failed attempts it admints that it does not have an ability of generating an actual file. Its almost like a chat that thinks that its more than chat, but in the end realizes it is only a chat and can only talk to you and advice you, but not do any actual tasks that you need. how should i resolve this? based on what i know, my pptx version and license should be okay? is the problem in me using macbook? or is it my standard license which needs to be upgraded? thank you.
