Deploy Configuration Manager Console in non English language

Hello.

I'm trying to deploy Configuration Manager Console in Italian, but I always end up with an english GUI.

My env:
Microsoft EndPoint Configuration Manager
Site version: 5.0.8968.1000
Running on Windows Server 2019, Version 1809, Build 17763.2183

I used SMSSETUP\BIN\X64\setupdl.exe from the MEM_CM DVD to get the language files (see attached image).

I tried with
ConsoleSetup.exe /q "TargetDir=%ProgramFiles%\ConfigMgr Console" DefaultSiteServerName=myserver.mydomain

and several variation of
ConsoleSetup.exe /q "TargetDir=%ProgramFiles%\ConfigMgr Console" DefaultSiteServerName=myserver.mydomain LangPackDir="mypath"
and moving the lang files in different locations but no luck.. I guess I put the wrong files and/or in the wrong place..

Here's an example layout of the source folder for the deploied package (see attached images).

Can anybody help me sort this out by telling me how to organize the deployment?

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

We may need to MEM_CM DVD and select LanguagePack\Server folder and your language, then run the file ALPxxxx.msp.
Wait while the installation is done, change your Windows 10 OS system language.

Thank you for your suggestion, but I'd rather install it correctly and not having to correct it after installing..

I'm pretty sure it's a problem of layout of language files..

In case my original post didn't make it clear, I'm trying to deploy the console using sccm.
When I use the MEM_CM installation DVD on a client where the default language is Italian (Switzerland), the console is correctly installed in Italian.

Any more hints?

Hi,

I have some confusion about the documentation, it said "Installing the Configuration Manager console from a command prompt always installs the English version. " But still give the command-line option LangPackDir.

Hi, @Roberto
First, do you use the ConsoleSetup.exe from ConsoleSetup folder in the installation path on the site server: \Tools\ConsoleSetup?
Then, the LangPackDir="mypath", Is this path you specified is for the client that will install the console? You may try to copy the language package to the client. And specific the LangPackDir with the path on client.

Sorry this so late. I could not get it to install it in non-english language. I'm sticking with english.
