Achievements are generated for instructor-led training only. Instead badges and trophies are added to your profile for completing Learn modules and learning paths

Yes, but it depends on what type of training is completed:

1. Completing an individual training module on Microsoft Learn grants an Achievement, not a formal certificate. Achievements are shown as badges on the Achievements tab of the Learn profile.
2. Completing a broader set of skills and passing the associated assessment or exam grants a Credential (for example, a certification). Credentials are visible on the Credentials tab of the Learn profile and can be shared with employers or on LinkedIn.
3. Some structured programs, such as Microsoft Essentials Professional Certificates (for example, Azure AI Essentials, Security Essentials) delivered via LinkedIn Learning, issue a Microsoft Essentials Professional Certificate after the required learning path is completed and the summative assessment is passed.

So, finishing training content alone gives Achievements; a shareable certificate/credential is issued only when the related assessment or exam is passed (or when a program like a Professional Certificate explicitly includes a certificate upon completion).
