My icloud e-mail doesn't work anymore on the new outlook. It used to work, but I can't even login to apple anymore because the hyperlink directs me to a page that says login invalid. I can still access my mail via the old outlook, but could you please fix the new one? Thank you :)

    Hi Madelief

I understand you’re having an issue where your iCloud email no longer works in the new Outlook for Windows, and the Apple sign-in link opens an “invalid login” page, while it still works in classic Outlook. Please follow these steps in New Outlook:

    1) Remove the broken iCloud connection and add it back (OAuth flow)

    • In new Outlook, go to View settings (or File > Account info).
    • Select Accounts > Your accounts.
    • If iCloud is listed, select Manage > Remove.
    • Select Add Account, enter the iCloud email address, then select Continue.
    • On Sync your iCloud account, select Continue to open the Apple sign-in in your browser.
    • Complete Apple sign-in (including any two-factor prompt), select Allow on the permissions screen, then select Done when you see Success!

    2) If the browser sign-in keeps failing, use Advanced setup

    • If sign-in is unsuccessful, you should try again or select Advanced setup and follow the prompts.
    • If the new Outlook sign-in flow continues to fail, continue using classic Outlook for iCloud access in the meantime (since it still authenticates successfully for you).
    • Note: For classic Outlook specifically, if your Apple ID uses two-factor authentication, Outlook may require an app-specific password instead of your normal Apple ID password.

Please tell me how it goes. If the problem persists, please don’t hesitate to reply to this thread and I will be happy to help. Have a lovely day!

Use classic Outlook to confirm the iCloud account and password still work, then re-add the iCloud account in new Outlook using the built-in flow or Advanced setup.

    In new Outlook for Windows:

    1. On the View tab, select View settings, or on the File tab, select Account info.
    2. Select Accounts > Your accounts.
    3. If the iCloud account is already listed, select Manage beside it and choose Remove to delete the broken connection.
    4. Select Add Account.
    5. In the Suggested account dropdown, enter the iCloud email address and select Continue.
    6. On Sync your iCloud account, select Continue.
    7. A browser window should open to the Apple sign-in page. Sign in with the Apple ID and complete any two-factor authentication, then select Allow on the Apple Account permissions window.
    8. When the Success! window appears, select Done.

If the Apple sign-in hyperlink still sends to an “invalid login” page, use Advanced setup in step 5 instead of the default flow and complete the sign-in directly in Outlook, similar to the workaround described where entering the app-specific password directly in Outlook resolved an iCloud sign-in issue.

If classic Outlook is using an app-specific password for iCloud, generate a new app-specific password at the Apple Account website and use that password when prompted in Outlook.

If none of these steps work, continue using classic Outlook for iCloud mail access and monitor for updates to new Outlook that may correct the Apple sign-in integration.
