The LinkedIn Premium offer itself is not described in the provided context, but there is a closely related case showing what typically goes wrong and how it was resolved.

    Based on that:

    1. Make sure the LinkedIn offer email actually arrived
      • The LinkedIn Premium activation usually comes as a separate email sent to the mailbox of the Microsoft account that received the 12‑month Microsoft 365 trial.
      • Check all folders in that mailbox: Inbox, Promotions/Updates (if using Gmail), Junk/Spam, and Other/Focused vs. Other.
      • If the Outlook app on iOS is your main client, also sign in to the same mailbox from a desktop browser (for example on a PC or Mac) and re‑check all folders. In a similar case, the offer email did not appear in the phone’s Gmail/Outlook view but was visible when checking the same account from a Mac.
    2. Confirm you are checking the correct email account
      • The offer will be sent to the email address that was used to sign up for the Microsoft 365 student trial.
      • If LinkedIn is using the same Outlook email as its primary sign‑in, that is helpful, but the key is which email address is associated with the Microsoft 365 trial.
    3. Once you find the LinkedIn Premium email
      • Open the email on any device (desktop is often easier).
      • Click the activation or “Get your LinkedIn Premium” link in that email.
      • Sign in with the same LinkedIn account you want to upgrade and follow the prompts to complete activation.
    4. If there is still no email
      • Double‑check that the trial was successfully activated and that the student/academic verification completed.
      • If the email is still missing after several days, contact Microsoft 365 support for the specific promotion, as the fix in the similar case was simply locating the already‑sent email in a different client.
