I purchased the Java and Bedrock edition bundle, and it is only allowing me to access the bedrock edition and when I am in the Minecraft launcher it says buy now on Java edition. I need to have this fixed on my account.

    Hello Angela Thress,

Since the bundle purchase is confirmed, this looks like an entitlement sync issue — the license was purchased but hasn't properly propagated to the Java launcher yet.

A good first step is to reset the Microsoft Store cache, which can sometimes clear up license recognition problems. To do that, press Win + R, type wsreset.exe, and hit Enter. This clears the Store's local cache and forces it to re-sync your entitlements. Once it's done, reopen the launcher and check if Java now shows as owned.

If that doesn't change anything, the issue is likely at the account/entitlement level — meaning the license exists on your order but isn't correctly linked to your account on the backend. At that point, the best path forward is to contact Minecraft Support directly at https://help.minecraft.net, as they have access to entitlement records and can manually push the license to your account.

The bundle purchase itself is handled as a Microsoft Store transaction, and each included product (Java and Bedrock) is delivered as a separate entitlement. When a bundle is bought successfully, all included products should appear individually under My games & apps / library and be installable without extra purchase.

If Java still shows Buy now in the launcher, use these steps to verify and fix the purchase side first:

    1. Go to the Microsoft account Order history page at https://account.microsoft.com/orders and sign in with the same Microsoft account used to buy the bundle.
    2. Confirm that the Java & Bedrock bundle (or equivalent Minecraft bundle) shows as Completed and that there are no payment issues. If there is a payment problem, follow the guidance in the purchase-troubleshooting article to resolve it.
    3. If the order does not appear, or appears only partially, follow the general Microsoft Store purchase troubleshooting steps:
      • Check that payment options are valid and up to date on the Payment options page.
      • Make sure there are no overdue subscription payments on the Services page.
      • Ensure the account is not suspended.
    4. After confirming the order is correct and completed, sign out of the Minecraft Launcher and sign back in with the same Microsoft account that owns the bundle.
    5. If Java still shows Buy now despite a valid completed order, contact Microsoft Store support for direct purchase assistance, as entitlement corrections must be done by support:
      • Use the Get help entry point in the Microsoft Store purchases support page to reach an agent.

Because entitlement and billing data are account-specific and not visible in community tools, only Microsoft Store support can adjust or repair the license if the order is correct but Java is not recognized.
