A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data.
Hi Michael Osborne,
Yes, this is supported in Excel for Windows.
Open the workbook, then go to View > New Window. This opens a second view of the same workbook (you’ll usually see :2 added to the workbook name in the title bar).
In one window, select the first worksheet, and in the other window select the second worksheet. Then go to View > View Side by Side to see them at the same time. Once enabled, Synchronous Scrolling becomes available if you want both sheets to scroll together.
If you want the layout arranged more neatly, you can also use View > Arrange All and choose a vertical or horizontal layout.
Note: This does not create a separate copy of the file. Both windows are simply different views of the same workbook. Closing either window is safe and does not affect your data.
Please let me know if this proves useful to you, or if you would like further assistance.
I'm looking forward to your reply.
