For most Microsoft certification exams like AZ-900, results are shown within minutes and the score and pass/fail status appear in the Learn profile within 24 hours. A score of 700 or greater is required to pass, so a score of 810 indicates a passing result.
If the certificate email or badge is not visible yet, follow these steps:
- Verify the result in Microsoft Learn:
- Sign in to Microsoft Learn.
- Open the profile menu (top-right) → Profile → Credentials → Certifications.
- Check whether the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification and its certificate/badge are listed.
- Confirm the correct account is used:
- Ensure sign-in is with the same account used when registering for and taking the exam.
- If multiple Microsoft accounts exist (work, school, personal), sign out and try each one to see where the certification appears.
- If the certification or certificate is still missing after 24 hours:
- Review the guidance in Missing Exams or Certifications to confirm requirements and account details.
- Then contact Microsoft Credentials Support using the process described there so the support team can check the exam record and attach it to the correct Learn profile.
Support is the only channel that can fix missing certifications or resend access to certificates; forums and Q&A cannot access individual exam records.
