Legacy certifications and exams from 2013–2014, such as the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 series and older SQL Server/HTML5 exams, may have aged out of the Microsoft Certification Program and might no longer appear in a Microsoft Learn profile.
If certifications or exams are missing from the Learn profile or cannot be found under any of the accounts that might have been used (for example, an old corporate email account), the supported path is:
- Review credential requirements
- Use the certification or exam details pages to confirm which credentials were associated with those exams and whether they are still active.
- Confirm the correct login account
- Sign in to Microsoft Learn and verify that the correct profile is being used.
- If multiple Learn profiles or login accounts exist (personal Microsoft account, old work/school account, etc.), sign in with each one and check the Certifications and Transcript sections.
- If a “congratulations” email from that time is still available, use the profile link in that email to identify which account was associated with the certification.
- Check for legacy/aged-out certifications
- Some older exams and certifications are no longer shown in customer Learn profiles. In those cases, they will not appear on the transcript or in the credentials list even if they were originally earned.
- Contact Microsoft Credentials Support
- For recovery of an old MCP ID, missing historical exams, or certifications that do not appear after checking all possible accounts, open a case with Microsoft Credentials Support so the support team can investigate the historical records and advise what can still be provided as official proof.
- Use: Microsoft Credentials Support.
If the certifications are confirmed as legacy and no longer surfaced in the Learn profile, support can clarify what official documentation (if any) can still be issued. If they are still in the system under a different account, support can assist with account/profile alignment so that the certifications appear in the current Learn profile and transcript.
