Windows Activation failed after BIOS update – Original Product Key not working

Hello,
I am reaching out because my Windows 11 PRO installation has become deactivated following a recent BIOS update.

I have the original product key that was previously working on this device, but when I attempt to re-enter it, the activation fails. It seems the BIOS update caused the system to perceive a hardware change, and my digital license is no longer being recognized.

How i can reactivate the Windows ?

Follow these steps in order:

1. Run the Activation troubleshooter
   1. Select Start > Settings > System > Activation.
   2. If Windows shows as not activated, select Troubleshoot.
   3. If the troubleshooter detects that activation failed because of a hardware change (the BIOS update), it may offer an option such as I changed hardware on this device recently or a link to reactivate after a hardware change. Follow the prompts to reactivate using the existing digital license.
   If the troubleshooter cannot resolve it and shows an error like 0xC004F211 or 0x803f7001, continue with the next steps.
2. Re‑enter the product key from Settings
   1. In Settings > System > Activation, select Change product key.
   2. Enter the 25‑character product key that originally activated Windows 11 Pro on this device.
   3. Complete activation.
   If activation fails with an error such as 0xC004F034, 0xC004C003, or 0x803f7001, the key may be invalid for this installation or no longer accepted for this scenario.
3. If the license was a digital license linked to a Microsoft account
   1. Confirm that the same Microsoft account used when Windows 11 Pro was originally activated is signed in on this device.
   2. Go back to Settings > System > Activation and run Troubleshoot again.
   3. If a valid digital license is found for this device or edition, the troubleshooter will reactivate Windows automatically.
4. If activation still fails after the BIOS/hardware change Depending on how Windows 11 Pro was originally obtained, one of the following may apply:
   • If Windows came preinstalled on the PC and the motherboard/firmware is now effectively seen as different, the original OEM license may no longer be valid for this configuration. In that case, a new license may be required.
   • If the product key has already been used on another device, or is being used on more devices than allowed, errors such as 0xC004C008, 0xC004C770, or 0x803FA071 can appear. Each device needs its own valid key.
   In these cases, use one of these options from Settings > System > Activation:
   • Select Change product key and enter a different valid Windows 11 Pro key, or
   • Select Go to Microsoft Store and purchase a new digital license, then activate.
5. If prompted that no valid license can be found (for example, 0x800704CF or 0x803f7001)
   1. Go to Settings > System > Activation.
   2. If a valid key is available, select Change product key and enter it.
   3. If no key is available, select Go to Microsoft Store and follow the instructions to buy a Windows 11 Pro digital license.

If none of the above succeeds and the key previously worked only because of an older upgrade path (for example, from Windows 7/8), current activation rules may no longer allow that key to activate a “new” hardware configuration, and a new Windows 11 Pro license will be required.
