I had mistakenly cancelled my subscription. Tried to reinstate it but I am getting both re-registration and cancellation emails. Did I re-register? Here is the information:

Whether the subscription is actually active cannot be confirmed from the emails alone. The status must be checked directly in the Microsoft account that was used for purchase.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Open a browser and go to the Services & subscriptions page for the Microsoft account that owns the subscription (sign in with the Gmail address shown in the order).
    2. Under Services & subscriptions, locate the cloud storage or Microsoft 365/OneDrive-related subscription.
    3. Check the status:
      • If it shows Active with a next charge date, the subscription has been successfully reactivated.
      • If it shows Canceled, Expired, or a date when it will end, then re-registration did not complete and the subscription is not currently active beyond that date.
    4. If the subscription is still active but recurring billing is off and continued use is desired, select Manage and turn Recurring billing back on (if available).
    5. If the subscription is canceled and should not be billed again, ensure it shows as Canceled and that no new subscription entry was created.

If the subscription was purchased through an app store (for example, Mac App Store or a mobile store), also review active subscriptions in that store account to confirm whether the purchase was restored or duplicated.

If the portal shows an active subscription but apps still report cancellation, sign out of the Office/OneDrive apps, sign back in with the same account used on the Services & subscriptions page, and use the in-app option to update or restore the license if available.

If the subscription state in the account portal does not match the emails (for example, it shows active but cancellation emails continue), contact Microsoft Support from the billing/subscription page so an agent can review the specific order ID and correct the status.
