I have removed onedrive from my computer. It is a filthy, pernicious, program. I thought I had cleared it out
However, when email attachments arrive the only choice is to save in my hotmail onedrive. But I don't have a onedrive account and wouldn't use it if I was paid to have one.
How do I stop MS asking me to use onedrive, ever?

Hello, I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. Even if you removed the OneDrive app from your computer, your Hotmail/Outlook.com account is still connected to Microsoft cloud storage, so Outlook may continue showing OneDrive as a save or attachment option. This does not necessarily mean the desktop OneDrive program is still installed, only that the Microsoft account service remains integrated with Outlook.
Please note that for personal Microsoft accounts there is currently no complete setting to permanently remove every OneDrive prompt from Outlook.com, because it is built into the service.
