My hotmail account has been hacked. I can log into my account and have changed the password, turned on two factor authentication and logged out of all devices and the hacker is still getting my emails.

Click the gear icon in the upper right corner.Go to Forwarding and IMAP, and check if there are any unfamiliar settings.
Also go to Rules and see if any rules were created by the hacker; if so, remove them.

Then click on Devices and see if any devices you don't recognize are connected.Go to https://account.microsoft.com/privacy
Click on Apps & services and check if you have any connected apps that you don't recognize. -

2026-03-06T21:47:54.3966667+00:00 No but I did turn off IMAP and POP and have not seen any more spam yet. I did not see any setting from IMAP or POP that look wrong but tuned it off
